Eirene Stamatogiannis
Eirene was raised in Port Adelaide and moved to Melbourne in 1999. Her earliest
memories are of icons her father commissioned in the local churches he founded.
Her love of drawing led her to study drafting and stage design while undertaking
her studies in performance acting at The Helpmann Academy SA. Eirene works
as a kitchen and bathroom designer and has been working the gallery circuit as
an Art consultant and campaign Director for 20 years. In 2019 she founded Uriel’s
Workshop – an iconographic studio and Gallery in Coburg North. Eirene has work
at St Peter and Paul – Genuine Greek Orthodox Church, Adelaide.
